The problem isn't that nothing is happening. It's that it's hidden — in Facebook groups, on municipal pages, in newsletters, in word of mouth.

GoToBe doesn't replace any of that. It just makes it easier to find.

One place per area, club and venue

GoToBe isn't social media, isn't a booking app, and isn't another event list. It's a simple structure:

• One profile that follows you across them.

An area gathers what's happening nearby. A club gets a clean home and a shareable URL. A venue becomes easier to find. You follow the areas you actually use.

Small things matter when they happen again. That's how strangers turn into familiar faces, and how a neighborhood starts to feel like somewhere you live — not just somewhere you sleep.

Local life doesn't need more noise.

It needs better access. Tools that support what's already happening, instead of pulling people into another closed platform.

Strong communities aren't built through one big event. They're built through small things that happen again — hosted by real people, in real places, close to home.

We want more of those to be easy to find and easy to come back to.

The goal is to make the first step easier.

A club on GoToBe gives you a clean URL, a clear page that explains what it is and where it happens, and a practical way for people to come back.

A venue page on GoToBe shows what happens there, which clubs use the space, and what's coming up — so people can show up, not just look up the address.

Strengthen what already exists

Municipal initiatives, local associations, libraries, cultural institutions, community projects and small independent organizers all contribute to the same local ecosystem.

Our goal isn't to replace them. It's to help connect them — and make their activities easier to find.

An independent project

GoToBe is independent and based in Denmark. Not a large corporation. Not selling your data. Not trying to lock local life inside one platform.

We believe in open structures, simple access and collaboration. Local life should be easy to find, share and support — not hidden behind algorithms or attention loops.

The point isn't to own local life. It's to help it grow.

GoToBe is live across Greater Copenhagen and the wider Sjælland region. Every municipality has its own area page, and we're still adding more.

If something feels missing where you live — a club that should exist, a venue that should be visible, a step in the flow that doesn't quite work — tell us. The product grows from real local input.
